How we did it
I worked on the NBCUniversal daytime talk show Harry, hosted by Harry Connick Jr., as part of the Art Department. This fast-paced production—often filming up to three episodes a day—demanded both creative agility and logistical precision.
While supporting the art directors, I was deeply embedded in the visual and creative execution of each episode. I sourced, styled, and procured props from vendors across the country, often under tight deadlines and with unique creative requirements. From helping food stylists stage compelling tablescapes to tracking down rare or unusual items for themed episodes, my work helped bring each set to life in dynamic and unexpected ways.
I often created costumes, set pieces, decor, and items from scratch like in our Halloween episode and for featured guests like The Property Brothers. These episodes allowed me to take creative ownership, working from concept to finished product while collaborating with the broader team.
My work on Harry was a blend of production support and creative contribution, and it sharpened my ability to execute high-level visual ideas quickly and resourcefully, skills that continue to influence my work today.
