TPCS

How we did it

I’ve worked as a Creative Strategist for TPCS since 2022 and we have accomplished some major changes in that period of time. Working one on one with the Executive Director, I develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for social media, web, newsletters, merchandise, marketing collateral, and other content we create.

In 2023, our biggest accomplishment was redesigning and reintroducing the TPCS branding. We updated the look and feel to better suit TPCS’s clients and attract potential donors.

Considering the current needs and future growth plans of TPCS, we completely revamped the website’s design and functionality to optimize for a better user experience. I designed and wireframed this site, delivering to and working with our developers which gave us the creative freedom to achieve our design goals and showcase our new branding.

I also work in an advising capacity wherever TPCS needs creative direction. Using my production and operations expertise, I’m able to remotely direct photoshoots and give feedback when requested. We work to further develop and maintain TPCS’s brand identity in order to gain them recognition and opportunities to better serve the homeless population of New Jersey.

What TPCS has to say…

Karimah A. Hagans, Esq.
Executive Director

Words can not truly express how amazing Sam is. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and her willingness and ability to go beyond is second to none. Sam is incredibly talented and always so eager to learn more in order to fulfill our organization’s needs. As an organization run by women for women, we were so lucky to find a creative strategist that understood and fit our organization’s dynamic perfectly. Meeting with Sam is truly the highlight of any work day!

Positioning

TPCS Supports women on their journey to independence and stability, committing to helping women break the cycles of homelessness and abuse by providing secure housing and innovative supportive services.

Because TPCS understands that each person’s circumstances are unique, we work to incorporate that perspective into our copy and designs across all platforms. We aim to establish TPCS as a key player in supporting the homeless population of New Jersey.

Social Media Design

TPCS currently posts social media content on a limited capacity to establish their brand presence across social platforms.

Rebrand

“Working on an entire rebrand and website can be daunting, but Sam made it fun and enjoyable.”

Karimah A. Hagans, Esq.
Executive Director

Website

While designing the latest version of tpcsinc.org, we wanted to create a more streamlined user experience. The challenge was TPCS has many different types of users such as those seeking assistance, those looking to volunteer, and those who are donating.

In order to facilitate the proper user journey for all site visitors, we revamped the navigation, expanded our pages, and provided clearer guidance to your preferred area of the site based on individual user needs.

TPCS is also growing in its offerings and the site reflects that. We’ve added a simplified job portal and a shop to sell our newly designed merchandise.

Other key additions to the site include relevant statistics about the homeless population of NJ, a timeline of TPCS’s growth, and an updated mission and vision, all to help site visitors better connect to TPCS’s clients, mission, and the organization itself.
